OVERVIEW
Suno is a pioneering generative AI platform that empowers users to create professional-quality music with vocals and instrumentation from simple text prompts. As the sole designer on the growth team, I spearheaded the creative ideation and execution for global paid social campaigns, navigating the challenge of visually representing the abstract and polarizing process of AI-assisted music creation.
GOALS
Convert both new audiences and existing free users into paid subscribers.
Position Suno as an accessible tool for everyone, from non-musicians to seasoned professionals.
Use copy and visuals to frame the AI as a creative partner that centers the musician and aids their process.
STRATEGY
Developed a high-performing ad structure that identifies specific creator pain points (such as licensing delays or copyright strikes) and positions Suno as the immediate solution for custom, royalty-free tracks.
Tailored creative assets to specific user personas, including video editors needing fast soundtracks, hobbyists exploring songwriting, and professional producers using Suno to generate and refine stems.
Highlighted the speed and ease of the platform, focusing on how Suno keeps creators "in the flow" by eliminating the traditional friction of music production and licensing.
RESULTS
Successfully produced the creative assets that propelled Suno to the 🏆 #1 Music App in the App Store as of April 2026.
Achieved consistently low CPS and high conversion rates while maintaining a high-volume ad spend.
